In Vonderland, the European Parliament has no power and is systematically humiliated.

In Vonderland, the Member States can only ratify the decisions of the President.

In Vonderland, European Commissioners are excluded from decisions concerning the budget.

This is why we must mobilize: the European Union cannot and must not turn into Vonderland.

Our peaceful protest denounces President Ursula von der Leyen and the European technocrats’ attempt to silence democracy, the voice of the Parliament, and the concerns of agriculture, food production, and food security.

We are witnessing a drift towards autocracy that is as visible as it is increasingly extreme.

We need Europe as much as we need bread, but we want a different Europe: one that is courageous, democratic, and free.

Ursula von der Leyen and the European technocrats propose and systematically take decisions that oppose what has been voted on by the European Parliament — a Parliament made up of democratically elected representatives organized into parties. The positions of the Member States are ignored, unheard, and contradicted. Commissioners are left unaware of decisions that affect their areas of responsibility...

Ursula von der Leyen and the European technocrats support policies aimed at dismantling Europe’s food system in favor of imports from other parts of the world with fewer controls. No one is halting the surge of chronic diseases, with obesity and diabetes at the forefront, which are notably correlated with the consumption of ultra-processed foods.

Ursula von der Leyen and the European technocrats aim to destroy our continent’s agricultural production, burying farms and livestock operations under so much bureaucracy that they are forced to close. Somebody in Brussels believes that farmers and families should bear the cost of rearmament and war. That’s why they want to cut funding for agriculture (CAP) and make Europe even more fragile and insecure . But we will NEVER give up, and we warn them: you cannot govern against farmers!

Ursula von der Leyen and the European technocrats promote free trade agreements with countries around the world that do not adhere to the same quality, environmental, and labor safety standards that Italian and European farmers uphold every day. We must say it’s ENOUGH! We demand reciprocity: the rules imposed on us must be applied to all imported products. And at the borders, we must conduct strict controls for every single incoming good.

Ursula von der Leyen and the European technocrats are turning Members of the European Parliament into mere puppets for decisions taken behind closed doors within the Commission. The Parliament is systematically ignored and humiliated. The votes of its members are treated as if they didn’t exist… an approach completely opposed to what is established by the Treaties that reshaped the balance of power within the European Union. You cannot keep silence the voice of the Parliament!

Join our strong and relentless protest, support the farmers, and together let’s save Europe from Vonderland!
